Charles Rankin Jackson died January 2, 1988, in the Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He resided at 11 E. 66th Street, New York, New York. He had been in declining health for eight months and seriously ill for one week. He was a graduate of Duke University and did postgraduate work at Cornell University. He was Senior Vice President for Young and Rubicam of New York. He was survived by parents, T.H. and Louise Jackson, and a brother, Ross Lee Jackson.
